Fox News’ Kat Timpf has disclosed that she received a breast cancer diagnosis just hours before delivering her first child last week. In a heartfelt social media post, Timpf shared that approximately fifteen hours prior to going into labor, she was informed of her early-stage breast cancer diagnosis. Her doctor assured her that it was “Stage 0” and likely hadn’t spread.
Despite the unexpected news, Timpf focused on the impending birth, humorously requesting a copy of her tumor ultrasound to place alongside her baby’s. She acknowledged that her upcoming three-month maternity leave would differ from her initial plans but expressed gratitude for the early detection and the joy of becoming a mother.
Support from colleagues and friends poured in, with Greg Gutfeld tweeting, “We’re all here for you Kat!” Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery praised Timpf’s strength during labor, and Meghan McCain lauded her resilience, stating, “You’re one of the strongest women I’ve ever known.”

Timpf concluded her message by thanking everyone for their support and emphasizing the importance of finding humor and hope, even during challenging times.
“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she said. “I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.”
She added: “Here’s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.”
