More and more businesses are retracting their DEI programs as they proved to be of no help in ensuring the companies’ growth and instead have become a liability.

In a social media post, Harley-Davidson declares that it has ended its diversity, equity, and inclusion program and has “not operated” under such function since April 2024.
The leading motorcycle producer said in a statement published on X, “We see it as every leader’s role to ensure we have an employee base that reflects our customers and the geographies in which we operate.”
“It is critical to our business that we hire and retain the best talent and that all employees feel welcome,” the statement continued. “That said, we have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today. We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals.”
“We believe having both a broad employee and customer base is good for business and that ultimately everybody should experience the joy of riding a Harley-Davidson,” it said on Monday.
“We remain committed to listening to all members of our community as we continue on our journey together as the most desirable motorcycle brand in the world.”
GOP leaders, including Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and the Republican vice presidential nominee, have long criticized DEI policies.
For Vance, the “DEI agenda is a destructive ideology.”
He further quipped, “It has no place in our federal government or anywhere else in our society.”
Aside from Harley-Davidson, huge corporations, including Johnson & Johnson and Tractor Supply Co, also faced backlash after being criticized for their corrupt diversity efforts.
Starbucks also quietly removed DEI requirements.
Last month, the motorcycle maker faced boycott calls after going full-on ‘woke’ by hosting an LGBTQ+ boot camp, organizing Pride marketing events, and indoctrination of ‘white’ employees.
Conservative influencer and former GOP candidate for congress in Tennessee, Robby Starbuck, lamented that Harley-Davidson is a “platinum founding member of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin.”
Starbuck further noted that Harley-Davidson’s German-born CEO Jochen Zeitz was among those climate change delusional who used his millions to “change opinions on climate change.”
I have nothing against a person’s beliefs as long as I’m not pressured to accept it, I believe in Christianity but am not a religious man ( long story) I don’t mingle with gay or any other not job,I love our great republic am a patriot I’m glad to say my Harley Davidson company isn’t going full on retardation with this woke bullshit.

DEI is another way to divide us.
I have friends who are gay and I love them. But they didn’t make me except them and they don’t brag about being gay. No parades, no trying to make a statement for the whole world to see and conform to. They just be who they are.
I’m glad Harley has retracted before it broke my heart to sell my 2018 Heritage Classic with a 107 powerhouse… I love my Bike but I’d have sold it in a heartbeat if Harley had not come around to realize the most important thing for any business, and that’s it’s Customer base,,,!!!
I would not go out and sell the bike you love for any reason I just wouldn’t go out and buy anything new from HD as I don’t believe they have done any such retraction and won’t be satisfied until the fire the German CEO
DEI is one reason America has been failing. I’ve always said that it doesn’t matter what color, gender, religious beliefs, education, financial background nor sexual preference you are. If you’re the best qualified person for the job you should be hired. There are too many people in jobs that they aren’t qualified for simply because they fall under the “quota” that pleases a government that thinks they know everything. I’ve worked with people who had college degrees and were book smart but they didn’t have the skills to do the job.
Yeah, case in point, the Secret Service CEO and her short women DEI hires to guard our Presedent. Totally incapable of being a body guard for a 6’3″ man! Still not fired!!!! I am so proud that Harley Davidson and other companies have stood up to this ridiculous way of life and do what was right for their employees and customers, Nothing should be forced on any Companies.
I still believe that the only way we can be completely comfortable going forward is to fire Deitz and hire an American CEO..
