Fifty illegal immigrants from Venezuela were flown to Martha’s Vineyard. The rich didn’t like it, so they sent the migrants to a military base. As usual, the Democrats are calling it a “cruel political stunt.”
Many volunteers were in tears. It was very cruel indeed. The wealthy had to do some hard labor rather than their yoga routines. Some had to volunteer to shelter the migrants in their church for two nights. They had to organize cots and supplies at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. The church is situated in Edgartown, surrounded by homes selling for over a million dollars. One house is currently on the market for over seven million dollars.

Rachel Self, a Boston immigration lawyer who gave legal assistance to some of the migrants, said they had been lured onto planes under false pretences.
“They were told there was a surprise present for them and that there would be jobs and housing waiting for them when they arrived,” Self told reporters during a news conference on Thursday.
“This was obviously a sadistic lie,” she said.
“Not only did those responsible for this stunt know that there was no housing or employment awaiting the migrants, they also very intentionally chose not to call ahead to any single authority on Martha’s Vineyard so that even the most basic human needs arrangement could not be made.”
The White House called the episode a “cruel, premeditated political stunt” by Republican leaders.
“Why else would Governor DeSantis have spent the time to charter a flight to take migrants out of a different state … hire a videographer to capture footage of that flight, but not bother to let Massachusetts authorities know that migrant children in need of food and shelter were about to land on their doorstep?” White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday.
That’s funny, so it is cruel to ship illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. It is unprofessional to inform the Massachusetts authorities that there are people who will need food and shelter. But Biden sending jets filled with illegals in the dead of night to Westchester, NY is a humanitarian effort.
Biden said that Abbott and DeSantis use human beings as props and that their actions are reckless.
“We have a process in place to manage migrants at the border.”
Abbott’s Press Secretary Renae Eze called the White House a bunch of hypocrites. The white house has been flying planes filled with migrants across the country, mostly at night.
Didn’t Abbott’s team hear what the Former Vice President said? They have a process in place; flying migrants across the country is the process. Just say you are helping them out with the process.
