Violent crimes have reached unprecedented numbers in the last two years. Some people blame the cause of the crime spikes in 2020 on the coronavirus. They warned about the rise in crime at the beginning of the pandemic.
Two years later, crime is rising even faster than it did during the first year of the pandemic. A cause of the increase in criminal behavior is the mental health issues rising around the nation due to the forced isolation and mask-wearing by liberal state governments.
Another reason for the dramatic rise in violent crime is the progressive Politician’s push to defund the police. It is not difficult to understand, if there are fewer police officers around, crime will rise. It will embolden the common criminal to commit more and more crimes and violence.
People across the nation have had enough. A mom in Milwaukee shot and killed a male intruder who threatened her two children. A man in California took down a thug who knocked down an elderly man and stole his watch.
Now, in Arizona, a good Samaritan decided to act instead of record on his phone. The man held a murderer at gunpoint preventing him from leaving the scene of his vicious attack until police could arrive and take the man into custody.

Emmanuel Reynoso Avila described to FOX 10 Phoenix how he and his brother jumped into action in Mesa on Friday after witnessing a car strike his neighbor, 63-year-old Christopher Heimer, and send him flying through the air.
Heimer was walking along the sidewalk in front of his house when 61-year-old John Lagana ran him down with his car. The vehicle hopped onto the sidewalk and struck Heimer who caromed off the car and ended up in a yard.
The suspect then turned, driving the vehicle back onto the sidewalk, and struck Heimer again running him over. Lagana exited the vehicle and stomped on the victim repeatedly. According to reports, Heimer is the current boyfriend of Lagana’s ex-girlfriend.
“I dropped everything I had, and I ran inside to get my gun while my brother was calling first responders,” Reynoso Avila said. “Then I shot off at the ground toward the driver because [the suspect] was trying to leave the area after he had run him over a second time.”
Police said Lagana was waiting for Heimer in a vehicle outside the his residence. Skid marks were left throughout the scene where Lagana was believed to have accelerated when driving toward the victim. The crime was premeditated and Lagana was prepared to escape afterward.
Reynoso Avila decided to help his neighbor and was once again able to stop violence and apprehend a criminal because they were free to exercise their Second Amendment rights under the Constitution. Authorities had no issue with Avila intervening in the situation.
While Avila was not able to save Heimer from Lagana’s wrath, he did apprehend the murderer who committed this evil and heinous crime. If Avila decided not to act, Heimer would have gotten away and who knows what kind of rampage he would have gone on.
He may have gone on a killing spree in the state of mind he was in but thanks to Reynoso Avila, he is sitting behind bars. The gun Avila used to detain Lagana was legally purchased. If progressive legislators get their way, people like Avila won’t have a gun to protect people.
As George Soros funds the campaigns of liberal district attorneys across the United States, innocent American citizens suffer the consequences. How much longer will law enforcement officials stand by and let the man influence not just our elections but the lives of good people every day?

Good for HIM! I’d shoot and ask questions later, to at least stop the guy from running!
