Jailed Hunter Biden’s former biz partner Jason Galanis exposed how the First Family leveraged their position in the White House to rake “billions” of funds.
In a transcribed interview on February 23, Galanis testified under oath how the Biden family took advantage of Joe Biden’s position, who was then Vice President, with the “goal” of earning “billions, not millions.”
Biden was recently exposed telling Russian business associates to “be good” to his boy [Hunter Biden].
Galanis opened his statement with a bombshell revelation: “Our goal — that is, Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and myself — was to make billions, not millions.”
Impeachment inquiry investigators from the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committee witnessed Galanis as he delivered his testimony.
Several business associates have already noted that Hunter Biden’s value was his family name and his access to his father, which they referred to as the “Biden lift.”
Galanis’ testimony covers Bidens’ influence peddling with Russia, China, and Kazakhstan.
Hunter Biden’s former associate further explained the “Biden Lift,” saying it meant “access.”
“Access meant to us at the time, being in the business of acquiring other businesses, to persuade third parties to do business with us,” exposed Galanis.
“Foreign investors would have a view of political access to the most powerful, admired country in the world, leadership in the most powerful, admired country in the world.”
Within the country, Galanis explained that it helped them secure deals with businesses where Biden had close ties.
“In a domestic context, it was, for example, things like the union pension funds. This particular circumstance was a business plan that included acquiring what ended up being two union pension fund managers, and investment managers, and that was a different sort of influence. It was a stamp of credibility,” Galanis said.
Galanis added that Hunter being on board has given them credibility with any possible business partner or venture because it displayed “access to the halls of power.”
Galanis also testified that Hunter often called his father and used his connections to close deals with the Chinese and Russians.
Joe Biden has long denied any involvement with any of Hunter’s businesses, while the White House even went on calling the impeachment inquiry “baseless” and nothing but a “conspiracy theory.”
Galanis revealed in his testimony, “I was present when Hunter called his father on a cellphone and put the call on speaker.”
“Present for the call were Yelena Baturina, an investor in Rosemont projects; her husband Yuri, and the former mayor of Moscow; and Devon Archer.”
Galanis cited a May 14, 2014 call between Hunter Biden and his father who was then-Vice President.
“We were told to go to an area of the restaurant to gather because Hunter was going to call his father,” Galanis recalled.
“Hunter called his father, said, ‘Hello,’ and ‘Hold on, Pops,’ then put the call on speaker phone and said, ‘I’m here with our friends I told you were coming to town, and we wanted to say hello.’
The vice president said, ‘Hello,’ and some pleasantries, ‘Hope you had safe travels,’ and seemed like he wanted to bring the call to an end by saying, ‘OK you be good to my boy.’
“Hunter responded by saying, ‘Everything is good, and we’re moving ahead.'”
The incident showed Galanis how deep Joe’s involvement with his son’s businesses.
“It was clear to me that this was a prearranged call with his father meant to impress the Russian investors that Hunter had access to his father and all the power and prestige of that position.”
