Kyle Rittenhouse Flips Now ‘100% Behind Donald Trump’ After ‘Productive’ Discussion With Team Trump

Kyle Rittenhouse gained popularity after he defended himself against Black Lives Matter rioters wreaking havoc in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020. He recently created controversy after announcing on X that he was not supporting President Donald Trump in November.

Rittenhouse, named ‘Outreach Director’ of Texas Gun Rights, said he would be ‘writing in’ instead of voting for the Republican nominee.

According to Rittenhouse, he had doubts about Trump’s seriousness in upholding the Second Amendment, saying that the president lacks commitment to gun rights, this is even though NRA endorsed Trump.

“Hi, I’m Kyle Rittenhouse, Outreach Director for Texas Gun Rights. A lot of people are upset that I said I’m going to be writing in Ron Paul for president of the United States… And that’s true. I will be writing in Ron Paul,” said the embattled personality.

“Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisors making him bad on the Second Amendment and that is my issue. If you can not be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment, I will not vote for you and I will write somebody else in,” Rittenhouse vowed.

“We need champions for the Second Amendment or our rights will be eaten away and eroded each day. I support my decision and I have no takebacks.”

This led to an outcry from netizens on X, calling for him to reflect on his statement.

“Kyle Rittenhouse took the support of MAGA and Donald Trump but now is completely turning on him to “write in” a candidate in 2024. After all the movement did for him? Absolutely disgusted with this kid,” remarked Joey Mannarino.

Catturd also weighed his opinion, “BYE forever. I can stomach a lot of things – but backstabbing millions who supported you at your lowest point. Then turning on Trump right after he got shot. Can’t stomach it – won’t put up with it – forgotten forever.”

“Kyle Rittenhouse lost 35K followers in the past few hours. < 3% of his followers!? His betrayal is unforgivable, and he must learn the hard way that you must remain loyal to people who have your back in difficult times. He sold his soul,” said another X user.

After suffering backlash, his announcement would not last a whole day, as he walked back on his statement less than 12 hours later, claiming that Trump’s team had reached out to him.

“Over the past 12 hours, I’ve had a series of productive conversations with members of Trump’s team and I am confident he will be the strong ally gun owners need to defend our Second Amendment rights,” Rittenhouse said.

“My comments made last night were ill-informed and unproductive. I’m 100% behind Donald Trump and encourage every gun owner to join me in helping send him back to the White House,” he continued.

In 2020,  Rittenhouse was attacked by Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, which he had later shot and killed in an act of self-defense.

Jurors in Kenosha, Wisconsin, ruled Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts in 2021.

Kyle’s unfortunate incident had caused him PTSD, while evil Democrats exploited the traumatic event to attack the 2nd amendment.
