With barely five months before the election and weeks since Fat Alvin handed down the rigged decision, Donald Trump’s conviction has not impacted people’s support for the former president.
One major swing state poll held days after Trump’s sham verdict revealed a solid lead for the Republican presumptive nominee.
According to a Quinnipiac University survey published on Wednesday, Georgia voters intend to vote for Trump over Biden by 49 percent to 44 percent in a one-on-one competition.
With a five-way matchup, Biden trails Trump by a six-point difference.
In a slap at Alvin Bragg’s crooked face, more than 54 percent of the respondents answered that the verdict had not affected their votes for the former president, with only 22 percent, mostly loser Democrats, remarking that the conviction made them less likely to vote for the former president.
Regarding the election interference charges led by Fani Willis in Fulton County, about 54 percent believe that Trump did nothing illegal, 25 percent say he did act unethically, and 41 percent think Trump did something illegal.
Respondents also believe that Trump is the best candidate to preserve democracy, with 49 percent of the votes.
Meanwhile, Biden’s approval rate continues to plummet to 36 percent, while 60 percent disapprove.
In a recent poll held by Fox News, reporters noted that Trump’s legal woes don’t seem to affect his standing.
In Arizona, Trump is leading by five percent against Joe Biden, the state which the MAGA leader “narrowly lost” in 2020.
The former president also leads by 4 to 5 points in Florida and Nevada. Meanwhile, Biden and Trump are tied in Virginia, where the presumptive Republican presidential nominee previously lost to the 81-year-old crooked Joe.
Based on a hypothetical matchup, Trump has 50 percent of support from Nevadans, while Biden only has 45 percent. This is bad news for the incumbent president, who won Nevada in 2020 by at least three percentage points.
Additionally, Biden’s job rating in Silver State continues to drop, with 58 percent disapproving of his performance.
Nevadans complain about their finances, with 49 percent saying they are falling behind.
“Biden’s main problem in Nevada is the economic recovery he has touted in many places isn’t being felt in Nevada,” says Republican pollster Daron Shaw.
As analyzed by Fox News reporters, “Virginia hasn’t gone for a Republican in twenty years, while Nevada hasn’t gone for a Republican in twenty years, that’s another generation. This means that this is a race where the battlefield is expanding in Trump’s direction and Biden is playing defense on a growing number of fronts.”
