Greene apologized last year for comparing mask laws to the Holocaust. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene compared vaccine requirements and cards to a Nazi “health permit” in a Telegram post-Thursday, citing the Holocaust-related COVID-19 terminology that got her in controversy last year. Last year, Greene enraged House Republicans by comparing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) mandatory House mask policy to the Holocaust. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., slammed her in a statement at the time.
Greene eventually apologized, saying, “There is no resemblance and never will be” between the Holocaust and mask laws. McCarthy and Greene’s spokesmen did not respond quickly to Fox News’ requests for comment. Greene’s Republican primary opponent, Jennifer Strahan, chastised her over the remark.
As a result of the distribution of erroneous information, Greene’s personal Twitter account was disabled. “Rep. Greene’s previous apologies for similar remarks were obviously ineffectual. Most Georgians are humiliated by her acts, which demonstrate her lack of historical knowledge and explain why she is so useless. Our district is in serious need of fresh leadership.” Strahan argues. Strahan is often seen as a long-shot contender, but according to Punchbowl News this week, he has institutional backing. Greene also raged against “masks and vaccination mandates,” as well as the “tyrants” who try to force Americans to comply with them, in her Thursday Telegram post. She expressed sorrow for her $90,000 fine for refusing to wear a mask on the House floor as mandated by Pelosi.
Since her election, Greene has been one of the most controversial Republican House members. Democrats withdrew her from a number of House committees early last year after she made a number of offensive remarks, some of which were made prior to her election.

She just reveals the truth which the Democrats are allergic to. Hurrah for her!
