Massive Win For Gun Advocates As Retired 93-Year Old Blasts Home Intruder With A Shot Gun, ‘They Came To A Gunfight With A Pocketknife’

Moreno Valley, California, is a city about one hour away from Los Angles. Joe Howard Teague, a 93-year-old man, rightfully defended himself and his property on the night of June 30, 2022.

“Teague called 911 at about 12:30 p.m. and reported a burglary in progress at his home, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. As deputies responded, Teague, told a dispatcher he was holding several suspects, according to the sheriff’s department.”

According to Teague’s in-law Oscar Malma, Joe Howard Teague has been a victim of multiple burglaries. The criminals are bold enough to break into Teague’s house in broad daylight. The police have been slow to respond to his assistance.

“He was tired because every time he calls the police, the police were taking forever to come and assist him,” Malma said.”

This shouldn’t be happening. Joe Howard Teague’s actions were justified. People broke into his house; therefore, they forfeited their right to live. It is unfortunate, but Teague’s family shouldn’t have to defend him. Teague should have let them in, offered them cookies, and asked what pronouns they used. This case should be over and done with, but this is California.

Teague said several burglars were in his house; one of them may have been a woman. According to the sheriff’s department, he kept warning them that he had a gun which led to him shooting Joseph A. Ortega, who is now in critical condition.

“Investigators have established that several individuals, including Ortega, were inside Teague’s property when a shooting occurred,” the sheriff’s department said.”

However, because Teague decided to “take laws into his own hands,” the Central Homicide Unit opened an investigation.

“He was defending his property. That happened inside of his home. So, I don’t think there would be any reason for him to be arrested.” Malma said.

We can only hope. Even the sheriff’s department stated that the shooting was justified. Sadly, California is as messed up as they come when it comes to policy-making.

No additional arrests have been made, and the other suspects have gotten away. It may not have reached the level of insanity of Chicago, where police can’t chase offenders on foot. But being able to shoplift as long as it is $950 or below is why we have so many ridiculous videos of people robbing Walgreens or CVS.

The problem in California is apparent. Violent crime is on the rise and will keep rising until the people of California wake up and smell the fresh…it isn’t roses their smelling.

“Homicides in California jumped 31 percent last year, making 2020 the deadliest year since 2007. The 2,202 homicides in 2020 represent an increase of 523 over 2019. Homicides in Los Angeles rose 40 percent to 332, and they rose 35 percent to 285 in San Francisco. Both San Francisco and Los Angeles feature district attorneys who are perceived to be soft on crime, and both are facing the possibility of a recall election.” Lee Ohanian wrote for the Hoover Institution.

Unfortunately for Californians, it will only worsen due to their atrocious leaders.
