Human trafficking is a crime against humanity. It is essentially modern-day slavery involving the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain a labor or commercial sex act. The facts suggest every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked worldwide.
The crime is for financial gain, but the perpetrators of the act do so for power. Deep down, they enjoy the pain and suffering they inflict on those that are weaker than they are. Americans like to think this is a dirty crime that happens everywhere but in the United States.
It can happen in any community and any state. The victims can be of any age, race, gender, or nationality. There have been incidents involving pillars of the community such as Pastors, Youth Sports coaches, college professors, and even politicians who are the captors.
The United States is rampant with human trafficking as the border crisis rages at the southern border. People are being trafficked across the border every day. The numbers rage in the thousands every day.
The Biden Administration refuses to close the border and even denies there is a crisis at all. The migration across the border is done to spread what Democrats believe is their voting base. Border states are being flooded and people are being secretly flown all over the country.
Governor DeSantis of Florida struck a blow for Conservatives across the country this week. He flew a plane full of foreign nationals from the southern border to a place liberals revere. Martha’s Vineyard, a wealthy vacation island off the coast of Massachusetts.
Hillary Clinton appeared on the Joe Scarborough show on MSNBC declaring the migrants landing on the Vineyard was akin to human trafficking. Gavin Newsome, Governor of California, even went so far as to request criminal charges of kidnapping be considered by the Justice Department.
Hillary Clinton said on Morning Joe earlier today. “Some politicians would rather not only have an issue but exacerbate it to the extent of literally human trafficking,” Clinton said. Scarborough repeated the common claim that this transportation qualifies as human trafficking.
Jonathan Turley, a constitutional law expert, quickly added his voice to remind Clinton about what Human Trafficking is. “Human trafficking is not synonymous with moving humans in traffic. It is a legal term and a serious crime,” Turley tweeted out.
The liberal attempt to pin human trafficking charges on Governor DeSantis is not just a lie but makes a mockery out of the crime of human trafficking. The plane landing on the island is no different than the Biden Administration flying groups of the same people all over the nation.
Of course, Clinton’s appearance on the morning show, which nobody watches, was not to talk about DeSantis’ actions. It was an attempt to bring Hillary and her Clinton Global Initiative back into the spotlight. It is the keynote event of the Clinton Foundation.
Perhaps, MSNBC and Hillary Clinton should be careful not to throw stones here. The Clinton Foundation has a sordid past with alleged connections to crimes around the globe, including human trafficking and child sex exploitation.
The people of the Vineyard were not happy. The National Guard has since been used to collect the migrants and transport them off the island. They brought them to Cape Cod. Nobody can confirm the rumor that each of the migrants was given a shirt from Vineyard Vines.
