Nuisance-RINO Michael Johnson Challenges Established GOP Leader Cory Mills

Turns out, RINOs are not on Capitol Hill alone; a lot of them hang around in local party politics, waiting for the perfect timing to attack their prey and cause, sometimes, irreparable destruction within the GOP.

One of them is Michael Johnson, who has been challenging one party leader to another, creating chaos instead of offering unity within the party.

Johnson is from Seminole County; he previously challenged and lost to state senator Joe Gruters for his position in the Sarasota seat in Senate District 22 in 2023.

Nuisance Johnson (unrelated to Speaker Mike Johnson) now takes up a bigger fight as he attempts to topple Florida Senator Cory Mills in a Republican primary.

In April, he paid around $10,000 to be included on the Republican ballot in Florida’s 7th Congressional District.

Johnson had entered the race late and was no match for Mills, who had an established career serving the American people.

Johnson was a known troublemaker for his disruptive actions. He had hosted unauthorized meetings, which forced the leaders of the Seminole County Republican Executive Committee to file a grievance against him for hosting meetings without authorization.

Johnson attempted to stage a coup against the leadership of the party in his desperation to be in power. However, his attempts had failed, with Ben Paris, chair of the county party, declaring his motion void.

Gruters, chair of the Republican Party of Florida, ultimately ruled in favor of the party leaders. In a legal opinion written by Ben Gibson, the state party’s general counsel, Johnson was warned of possible expulsion.

“Any REC member attempting to unlawfully exercise the authority of the REC through this special meeting in violation of the RPOF County Model Constitution or the RPOF Rules of Procedure may be disciplined up to and including removal from the REC.”

Since joining the REC in 2021, Johnson has been known for creating inter-party rifts and commotion.

Members of the Seminole County State Committee stressed this. They cited instances where police had to intervene after he interrupted business, sometimes as early as during the pledge of allegiance.

“It is not surprising Mr. Johnson would now file to run in an area where he does not live solely to carry out a personal vendetta,” remarked Jesse Phillips, a Seminole County state committee member.

“We need to clean up our politics and put an end to these shenanigans.”

Instead of campaigning for his platform, he went on spreading black propaganda against his opponent and incumbent Cory Mills.

Johnson accused Mills of voting with the Democrats. Lies. The Florida lawmaker is a Republican through and through. In fact, there were several instances where his judgment was challenged, but Mills maintained his firm stance and was loyal to the GOP.

The nuisance candidate further alleged that Mills wasn’t actually a war veteran and has ‘no foreign service.’ Rep. Mills doesn’t need to enumerate his experience and how many military campaigns he has joined. The truth was that from 1999 to 2004, Mills served in the United States Army, where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Cory was struck twice in 2006, once with an improvised explosive device (IED) and once with an Iranian explosively formed projectile (EFP), which resulted in numerous casualties. What does that make of Johnson? Who was a nobody and nothing on his experience except smearing his rivals?

Johnson had to resort to spreading misinformation against Rep. Mills because he has nothing on his belt to be proud of.

With his record of service, the incumbent Florida representative has proven his sincerity to the American people; thus, his support is overwhelming, which includes financial backing. Meanwhile, Johnson had to fund himself because everybody knows what he is, a pathetic fraud.

Nicholas Pagnotta was able to attend an event where Johnson got to speak.

Ironically, this man accused Rep. Mills of being a ‘RINO’ and a ‘Fraud.’

Pagnotta was among the hundreds of Republicans outraged by Johnson’s accusations, he wrote: “I brought up this video today because yesterday at a local Republican Party event, I heard one of the candidates speak about running for Congress against a ‘RINO.'”

“I thought that was interesting, so I looked at the back of his card, and I found an entire hit piece against Rep. Cory Mills filled with bullshit lies.”

“The best part about this fake RINO who was spreading fake Democrat talking points against Rep. Mills isn’t just his obnoxious voice cracks or fake-looking hair; it’s his name, ironically, Mike Johnson,” Pagnotta added.

“Unlike 99% of all other GOP-elected officials at local, state, and federal levels, Cory Mills actually does what he was elected to do.”

He furthered, “I have gotten to know Rep. Cory Mills over the last several months, including meeting him at an event, and when I say he spent over an hour shaking hands and talking to everyone in the room without rushing anyone with their conversation, I am not exaggerating. He then gave an amazing speech with no notes, had the room fired up, and then proceeded to talk and take pictures with everyone again for over an hour.”

In truth, Johnson was a nobody who desperately disparaged the Republican Party to gain attention and establish a reputation for himself.
