One Juror Favors Trump, Considers Acquittal – Report

The Raging Patriot have been monitoring the update on President Donald Trump’s bogus hush money trial in New York.

For the Raging Patriot, “in a Democrat state, with a Democrat Governor, with a Democrat state AG (Letitia James), a Democrat Manhattan DA who is trying to intimidate the jury (Alvin Bragg), a heavy Democrat population that will result in a heavily anti-Trump jury, it would only take one juror to see the obvious truth and find Trump innocent.”

As New York awaits jury decision, many reports warn of a possible hung jury resulting in a mistrial as some jurors were skeptical of the prosecution. The jury deliberation began yesterday, May 29, and closed without finalizing their verdict.

The Bulwark’s Marc Caputo reported that one juror appears supportive of the former president.

An audience from the court observed, “There are eight people on that jury who definitely hate Trump. If there’s one person who doesn’t, it’s [this] juror.”

Caputo also described the juror’s demeanor during the hearings.

“As the trial has progressed since April 15, these sources relate, this juror has appeared to nod along in seeming accordance with the defense at times.”

“On other occasions, the juror has seemingly reacted favorably to and made eye contact with Trump’s congressional surrogates who began joining him in court in recent weeks,” Caputo continued.

The news reporter also shared that the juror “lit up” upon seeing Trump’s high-profile supporters attending the trial.

Former Justice Department official Harry Litman (D) shared the same concern for that one juror.

Litman remarked, “Can’t identify her or him per judge’s orders but seems less engaged and slightly irritable.”

However, there is still uncertainty surrounding the jury’s vote, “You just never know what people are thinking or what they’re gonna do,” one Trump insider said, and The Bulwark highlighted in their report.

“Yeah, the [juror] looks friendly. But maybe [the juror is] just doing that to [expletive] with us before they vote to convict.”

Some legal experts weighed the possible verdict on Trump’s bogus New York trial.

Constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley believed the jury would hand Trump a guilty verdict or a hung jury. But pressed that it is still a “weak case.”

Turley remarked in an appearance on Fox News last April, “Only about 12 percent of the people in this area voted for Trump.”

“The jurors you have to worry about are the ones who are sort of ‘Trojan horse jurors,’ who are hiding bias that doesn’t appear on social media or are involved in any formal charges.”

Meanwhile, CNN legal analyst and defense attorney Randy Zelin argued that “reasonable doubt” is everywhere.

Zelin told CNN host Kate Bolduan that he believes the prosecution “fell short” in laying out their case against the former president.

‘It’s everywhere, everywhere!’

“The burden of proof is an important one to remind everyone: It’s on the prosecution, right? They need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he committed — that Donald Trump broke the law. And you think after listening to all of this, you think they fell short. How?” Bolduan questioned.

“They fell way short because let’s start with reasonable doubt. What is reasonable doubt? And it’s not simply a doubt based upon reason. Any time a human being needs to make an important decision in life, if you have enough information, for example, doctor says you need open heart surgery. ‘Doc, go ahead and schedule. I don’t have a reasonable doubt.’ Conversely, if I say, ‘I appreciate it, but I need a second opinion, I need more information,’ that is having a reasonable doubt. There is reasonable doubt all over this case,” Zelin explained.
