Pete Buttigieg’s New Claims on Climate Change

As Nicholas Pagnotta has said: “Pete Buttigieg is hands down the WORST Secretary of Transportation in the history of our country.”

Self-proclaimed meteorologist transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg has some controversial insights on climate change and how it affects transit systems in the country.

Buttigieg blames everything but himself on the increasing transportation woes among travelers, and his recent suspect is, climate change, a prime example of the kind of education the Democrats provide among its members.

Pagnotta further hit the transportation secretary for calling highways “racist” and leaving thousands of passengers in limbo while he goes on “maternity leave.”

During an appearance at CBS’ “Face the Nation” last Sunday, Buttigieg blamed global warming for the surge of in-flight turbulence.

“The reality is, the effects of climate change are already upon us in terms of our transportation,” Buttigieg claims.

“We’ve seen that in the form of everything from heat waves that shouldn’t statistically even be possible threatening to melt the cables of transit systems in the Pacific Northwest to hurricane seasons becoming more and more extreme.”

Buttigieg argued there were “indications that turbulence is up by about 15 percent.”

“There are protocols and patterns for things like how pilots who encountered turbulence notify those who might be coming in the past, but I do think we need to continually reevaluate that in the face of the reality that these things are more frequent and more severe than before,” he continued.

The segment host, Margeret Brennan, then cited the incident where at least 30 people sustained injuries after experiencing extreme turbulence mid-flight.

Buttigieg answered, “To be clear, something that extreme is very rare. But turbulence can happen and sometimes it can happen unexpectedly.”

“To be clear, something that extreme is very rare, but turbulence can happen, And sometimes it can happen unexpectedly,” the secretary answered.

“Our climate is evolving. our policies and our technology and our infrastructure have to evolve accordingly to this is all about making sure that we stay ahead of the curve, keeping aviation as safe as it is.”

Buttigieg, along with fellow Democrats, have long been pushing for their climate change narrative. However, contrary to their claims, turbulence is totally normal.

The Federal Aviation Administration defined clear-air turbulence as a “sudden severe turbulence occurring in cloudless regions that causes violent buffeting of aircraft.”

And because this is normal, the aviation agency clarified thousands of aircraft experience severe turbulence yearly.

The FAA further said that many injuries from turbulence are often acquired when passengers are not wearing seatbelts. The same reason why Steve Landells, a member of the pilot union Balpa, that once pilots put the seatbelt signs on, everyone has to strap in, “even if it is smooth when we put the signs on, we may know it is going to get bumpy soon.”
