The View Hosts Stunned by Dr. Phil’s Bombshell Statement on Covid

The View hosts were dumbfounded when a supposed regular promotion of Dr. Phil McGraw’s upcoming book took an unexpected turn when the famous TV host delivered bombshell remarks on COVID-19 and its detrimental effects on children.

The author of We’ve Got Issues, was asked by the View’s Sara Heines how he addresses social media.

Dr. Phil replied, “In, like, ’08, ’09, smartphones came on, and kids started, they stopped living their lives and starting watching people live their lives, and so we saw the biggest spike and the highest levels of depression, anxiety, loneliness, and suicidality, since records have ever been kept, and it’s just continued on and on and on.”

“And then Covid hits 10 years later, and the same agencies that knew that, are the agencies that shut down the schools for two years. Who does that? Who takes away the support system for these children? Who takes it away and shuts it down?

“And by the way, when they shut it down, they stopped the mandated reporters from being able to see children that were being abused and sexually molested and, in fact, sent them home and abandoned them to their abusers with no way to watch and referrals dropped 50 percent to 60 percent.”

The show’s co-host, Sunny Hostin, countered Dr. Phil and said that schools were closed because “there was a pandemic going on.”

Whoopi Goldberg also chimed in and said: “They were trying to save kids’ lives. We know a lot of folks who died during this…”

Ana Navaro, who seems shocked by McGraw’s straight talk, asked the author if he was saying that no school child died from COVID.

But McGraw is not having any of it. He emphasized that the children were the safest group.

“They were the less vulnerable group, and they suffered and will suffer more from the mismanagement of Covid than they will from the exposure to Covid, and that’s not an opinion. That’s a fact.”

The audience cheered Dr. Phil as the show went for a break.

Before this, Hostin asked McGraw about his interview at the southern border, which will air in his new series Dr. Phil Primetime. The television host then replied, “Is it possible that we’re sending them into known prostitution rings or sweatshops?’ He said, ‘It’s not possible. It is absolute.”

Hostin, who tried to act naive on the border crisis, clarified, “all children or some children?”

McGraw said, “Well, who knows? We don’t know.”

In support of Dr. Phil Nicholas Pagnotta quipped, “We tried telling you that kids were not in any danger from [COVID-19] and that schools should remain open, but we were censored and banned for saying that…”
