The prosecutors in the Michigan high school shooting case from earlier this week revealed some very disturbing text messages that allegedly reveal that the parents exchanged with their son, the teenager responsible for the incident.
James and Jennifer Crumbley are the parents of the teenager responsible for the mass shooting inside the Michigan High school. according to Karen McDonald, the Oakland County prosecutor, the Crumbleys’ son on Tuesday fired at least 30 rounds in the hallways of Oxford High School in Michigan, killing four students and injuring seven others.
“While the shooter was the one who entered the high school and pulled the trigger, there are other individuals who contributed to the events on November 30 and it is my intention to hold them accountable as well,” the prosecutor said in a press conference. “It’s imperative we prevent this from happening again. No other parent or community should have to live through this nightmare.” She added.
According to the prosecutor, a 9mm handgun was used in this incident that was purchased by James Crumbley from a local store on Black Friday. An employee working at that store claims that Crumbley purchased the firearm in the presence of his son.
The son then went on to post images of the handgun on his social media accounts with a caption, “just got my new beauty today [heart emoji] sig sauer 9mm any questions I will answer”
On the next day, the mom of the teenager posted on social media “mom and son day testing out his new Christmas present.”
And just a week before the shooting, a teacher at the high school noticed the teenager ‘searching for ammunition’ on his cell phone during class. The teacher reported the incident to school administrators.
The administrators then tried to contact the mother by phone and email but Jennifer Crumbley never responded to the administrators. However, she was exchanging text messages with her son about the incident. One of these messages allegedly read “Lol I’m not mad at you, you have to learn not to get caught.”
On the day of the incident, the shooter’s teacher saw a disturbing note on his desk with drawings of the handgun, a built and a person getting shot with words like “the thoughts won’t stop, help me,” “blood everywhere,” “my life is useless” and “the world is dead” according to the prosecutor.
The parents were then immediately called out for a meeting and the administration suggested getting the son into counseling within 48 hours.
Later that day, the son drew the firearm from his backpack at started firing in the classroom and the hallway.
When the news broke out that there is a high school shooting, the mother texted her son at 1:22 pm “…don’t do it,” the prosecutor alleged.
Fifteen minutes later, the father called 911 and reported his gun missing from his house. Further investigation revealed that the gun purchased by the family was stored unlocked in a drawer in the couple’s bedroom.
The son is now facing one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and both the parents are facing involuntary manslaughter charges.
Four students lost their lives in this incident. They are:
- 16-year-old Tate Myre, 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin, and 15-year-old Justin Shilling.

I missed the part where the parents did anything criminal?
Why did the school turn down a police officer for school protection. School is also at fault for lack of protection and not removing him from school when they suspect something is wrong.
I AGREE WITH YOU.
