‘We Need Term Limits On Bureaucrats’: Republican Congresswoman Makes Major Proposal To Stop Tyrants Like Fauci From Abusing Power

Dr. Anthony Fauci will be retiring in December. Is it because he senses that his days are numbered when the Republicans regain control? Or is it because he misses being in front of the camera?

I think it is a little bit of both. We can only hope that if the Republicans regain control that they also grow spines. Dr. Fauci leaving shouldn’t be taken as a victory but looked upon as to what they are scheming.

The DC Enquirer reported on Dr. Fauci’s exit:

Dr. Fauci announced his retirement on Monday via a statement where he explained his reasoning for stepping down after serving in the position since 1984.

“I am announcing today that I will be stepping down from the positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation, as well as the position of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden,” said the 84-year-old bureaucrat in his announcement letter. “I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career.”

“While I am moving on from my current positions, I am not retiring. After more than 50 years of government service, I plan to pursue the next phase of my career while I still have so much energy and passion for my field,” Dr. Fauci continued, adding, “I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats.”

Keep in mind that Dr. Fauci loves being the center of attention and seeing himself on the big screen. His whole career has been centered on creating Pandemics. The AIDS scare was his first love child.

He claimed that AIDS could be airborne and received compensation for experimental NIH-patented treatments.

The very same NIH had conducted abusive experiments on Beagles. Fauci’s NIH has spent $400k to infect Beagles with flies that carry parasites harmful to humans. Don’t forget that the NIH removed the vocal cords of the beagles because their whimpers bothered the scientists. By the way, Trump made animal abuse a federal crime in 2019.

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) recently suggested that bureaucrats like Fauci should have term limits. At this point, I see these ideas as blowing hot air from Republicans. They earned the nickname “do nothing Republicans” for precisely as the nickname suggests.

Even when they regained power during Obama’s administration, they did nothing but complain. Even when they had ideas, they were terrible at explaining them to a general audience.

Senator Rand Paul has stated on Sean Hannity that he wants a criminal investigation on Anthony Fauci.

An excerpt from Mediaite:

“Yes,” Paul said, “and I will be sending a letter to Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral, because he has lied to Congress. We have scientists that will line up by the dozens to say that the research he was funding was gain-of-function. He’s doing this because he has a self-interest to cover his tracks and to cover his connection to Wuhan lab. Now does he deserve all the blame? No, there’s still some conjecture as to whether or not it came from the lab. But he’s lying about whether or not he funded gain-of-function research, and yes, he should be punished.”

Again, Republicans like Rand Paul and Claudia Tenney repeatedly say things we want to hear. They fire us up and say they want a criminal investigation or term limits. Saying these things is one thing, but Republicans need to start acting on their promises.

Granted, while getting a conservative message out on mainstream media is an uphill battle, Republicans never try. As someone who was on the Hill, there was always this “defeatist attitude” from the Republicans; mind you, they had the majority in Congress at the time. Suggesting that they should try harder would award you with laughter and scorn. Some would even say working with people like Nancy Pelosi is better than fighting against them.

Republicans, like Liz Cheney, think that way. A majority of Republicans on the Hill think that way. Their idea of a good plan is to say what voters want to hear and then do nothing. The last step is to hope that the Democrats will offer something to the Republicans for their vote, rinse and repeat.

Rand Paul has been on fire these past few months with his line of questioning to Fauci in the hearings. However, take what he says with a grain of salt. Take what any Republican says with a grain of salt. Until we see real action, their heads will always be on the chopping block when primaries roll around.
