He shared a clip where Secret Service agents flanked Trump and whisked him off stage. In the video, the former president was overheard asking for his shoes as they raised him and told agents to “wait” as he pumped his fist up in the air and shouted at the audience, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
Musk tweeted the video with a caption, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.”
The X owner’s statement comes after reports that he recently contributed a “sizable amount” to a Trump-backed political action committee.
In a later post, he wrote “The martyr lived.”
Before this, the billionaire declared he would not participate in elections nor contribute money to either candidate.
The CEO, who had been a vocal critic of DEI and border woes, hit the incompetence of the Secret Service, whose task was to provide security to Trump and the people attending the rally.
Musk joins people on social media to demand heads to roll in the Secret Service and call for the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly A. Cheatle.
Responding to a post by Human Events’ Jack Posobiec, who asked: “How was a sniper with a full rifle kit allowed to bear crawl onto the closest roof to a presidential nominee.” Musk quipped: “Extreme incompetence or it was deliberate.”
“Either way, the SS leadership must resign.
The Secret Service is under the Department of Homeland Security, which the border crisis king Alejandro Mayorkas heads.
Musk furthered, “he ought to be in jail [referring to Mayorkas].”
The Secret Service is now confronted with similar questions and the fact that many of the attendees alerted them of the man on the roof with a firearm.
For many, the buck stops at Cheatle as the head of the SS.
Aside from Trump, the gunman also injured two rallygoers and killed one. The suspect was later shot and killed by authorities.
According to the FBI, the suspect was Thomas Matthew Crooks, who donated to the Democrats and later registered as a Republican. The same agency that raided Trump and his family in Mar-a-Lago claims they are now investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, Musk also later shared a photo of a bloodied Trump carried by the SS and wrote: “Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.”
Nicholas Pagnotta also echoed Musk’s praises and expressed his support to the 45th president reelection campaign.
He wrote on X, “I’m proud to be an American and I’m proud to stand behind Donald J. Trump since day 1.”
“He will always have my vote and America needs to come together and unite behind him as well.”
“It’s time we take back our country this November and elect Donald J. Trump the 47th President!” Pagnotta remarked.
He also thundered on the Biden regime, legacy media, and left-leaning news agencies to stop the dangerous rhetoric that risks the lives of many people.
“I call on the press, the Biden campaign, and all others to STOP the dangerous rhetoric.”
“For years you have called Trump a “Nazi” “Hitler” and “Dictator”, and Biden just recently called Trump a “Threat” to our country who needs to be stopped at all costs, while labeling Trump supporters as ‘extremists.'”
“We as Americans have always united when in hard times, we must come together now.”
